Printed with archival inks on premium paper (300 GSM, Silk Art, photographic print). Size of the paper is 450mm x 320mm, and image is approx 435mm x 305mm. Poster (in yellow, green and orange colours) depicts woman in a rowing boat, struggling against the onslaught of a huge wave, whilst on the crest, a man sails along leisurely in a sail boat, without effort. Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image of Mary Gawthorpe is taken from a contemporary photographic postcard, c. 1911. She was a leading suffragette from Yorkshire, who became the full-time organiser of the WSPU in Leeds in 1906.
