Purple background with green circle displaying the words "Loyal Service - Deeds Not Words" in gold. On an inner white circle, in the centre of the badge, the letters "W.S.P.U" and the date "1913" appear, also in gold. Gold back and safety pin to rear for easy affixing to garments. They're held back by a rope tied to two posts. Below the steps, a shrouded mother cuddles her baby and another woman in period fashion looks on.
