The image is printed in vibrant colours and is taken from a suffragette poster, c. 1912. Mrs Bull tries to beat an entry into Franchise Villa, while her husband, John Bull, refuses to let her in. Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image of Mary Gawthorpe is taken from a contemporary photographic postcard, c. 1911. She was a leading suffragette from Yorkshire, who became the full-time organiser of the WSPU in Leeds in 1906.
