(Portrayer Publishers, 2009). Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and is taken from a suffragette poster by artist Emily J. Harding Andrews. (Originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League). Image (in brown, gold and cream sepia) shows an educated woman, wearing cap and gown, and standing inside locked gates with a convict and a "lunatic". Two books lean against the gates from the outside. Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). The Portcullis: The WSPU Holloway Badge / Brooch
(Modern Replica, 2018). The original Holloway brooch, of which this is a faithful replica, was designed by Sylvia Panhurst and presented from 1909 onwards to suffragettes who had undergone imprisonment. The portcullis and chains are in a non-precious antique-chrome plate, and the arrow on top, which is the convict symbol, is purple, white and green enamel (the colours of the WSPU). Dimensions: 2cm X 2.5cm. With a secure butterfly clasp to the rear. Presented with a free purple velvet gift-pouch in an attractive gift-bag, which is clear at the front and shiny silver at the rear.
