Pack of 6 greetings cards (all featuring the same design) which reproduce an original poster advertising " The Suffragette" newspaper, circa. 1912. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and depicts a young lady in the countryside, by a gate, holding high a copy of 'The Suffragette' newspaper (Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked with a Portrayer insignia and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). A modern reproduction of this suffragette poster by artist Emily J. Harding Andrews. (Originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League). Printed with archival inks on premium paper (300 GSM, Silk Art, photographic print). Poster (in brown, gold and cream sepia) shows an educated woman, wearing cap and gown, and standing inside locked gates with a convict and a "lunatic".
