Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design) which reproduce an original poster advertising " The Suffragette" newspaper, circa. 1912. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and depicts a young lady in the countryside, by a gate, holding high a copy of 'The Suffragette' newspaper. (Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked with a Portrayer insignia and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. 10 Greetings Cards. A modern reproduction of this suffragette poster, originally published by the Brighton and Hove Women's Francise Society, 191x (exact date uncertain). Printed with archival inks on premium paper (300 GSM, Silk Art, photographic print). Poster (in varying shades of brown and black) shows a woman holding a banner ("Justice Demands the Vote"), next to a shrouded woman holding the scales of justice. They're held back by a rope tied to two posts. Below the steps, a shrouded mother cuddles her baby and another woman in period fashion looks on.
