The image is taken from an attractive suffragette poster advertising "Votes for Women", the Pethick-Lawrence edited newspaper, founded in October 1907. The colours are green, grey, purple and white and the image depicts a suffragette in contemporary dress standing in a field and holding aloft a copy of the newspaper.
