Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design) which reproduce an original poster advertising " The Suffragette" newspaper, circa. 1912. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and depicts a young lady in the countryside, by a gate, holding high a copy of 'The Suffragette' newspaper. (Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked with a Portrayer insignia and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). A modern reproduction of this suffragette poster, originally produced by the Artists' Suffrage League, c. 1914 (exact date unknown). Printed with archival inks on premium paper (300 GSM, Silk Art, photographic print). Size of the paper is 450mm x 320mm, and image is approx 435mm x 305mm. Poster (in yellow, green and orange colours) depicts woman in a rowing boat, struggling against the onslaught of a huge wave, whilst on the crest, a man sails along leisurely in a sail boat, without effort.
