The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and is taken from a suffragette poster advertising The Suffragette Newspaper, edited by Christabel Pankhurst. Image (in purple, brown, green, and white) shows Justice, a woman warrior in armour, holding a WSPU flag. It shows a prison cell in which a woman is being forcibly held down in a chair by a man and a woman, whilst another man pours liquid down a tube into the woman's nose.
