Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image is printed in vibrant lithographic colours and is taken from a suffragette poster by artist Emily J. Harding Andrews. (Originally published by the Artists' Suffrage League). Image (in brown, gold and cream sepia) shows an educated woman, wearing cap and gown, and standing inside locked gates with a convict and a "lunatic". Two books lean against the gates from the outside. Please note that the sample electronic image, unlike the cards themselves, is watermarked and reduced in quality, to prevent image theft). Although there is some tear damage to the right-hand side of the front cover, the book has been nicely repaired. There's a new spine, the covers have been neatly rebacked and there are new endpapers. The only other faults are a small tear (2cm) to right-edge of title page and some Roman numerals in ink are written at the base of the front cover. Otherwise, this is a good+, tight copy. Paperback.
