Size: 25mm (1 inch) diameter: Circular shape. Hard enamel-type finish. Gold-plated back and gold-plated, safe, butterfly clutch-pin to rear. Presented inside a small poly-bag. The design, as used by the WSPU, features a woman scattering the seeds of woman suffrage, and the colours are those associated with the suffragette movement - purple, green and white. Pack of 10 greetings cards (all featuring the same design). Card measurements are 6 inches high by 4 inches wide and each card is complete with cellophane wrapper and envelope. Blank interiors for your own message or for any occasion. The image of Mary Gawthorpe is taken from a contemporary photographic postcard, c. 1911. She was a leading suffragette from Yorkshire, who became the full-time organiser of the WSPU in Leeds in 1906.
